Diary of the Dead

Paducah, KY - Fiction turns into reality for a group of film students who set out to shoot a low-budget horror flick in the woods of Pennsylvania. When the dead come to life before their eyes, director Jason Creed decides to capture these startling events with his camera, even as members of his cast and crew become prey to the increasing army of walking corpses that surround them. Mainstream media coverage of this plague is manipulated and unreliable, so the only way to get the real story out to the public is by posting raw footage on the Internet. As the group make their way back home in an old Winnebago, they are met with death at every turn, and the realization sets in that the only remaining audience for Jason's film may be the same undead subjects he is risking his life to document. RATED R. RUNTIME: 1 HOUR & 35 MINUTES

Diaries of Adam and Eve at Badgett Playhouse

Grand Rivers, KY - Friday and Saturday nights - 7:00PM A romantic comedy based on the writings of Mark Twain. This family-friendly highly original two-character play, drawn from "Mark Twain's Diaries of Adam and Eve," is a barrel of laughs, as rich in wisdom as in wit.
More than a hundred years after Mark Twain wrote his own short stories about Adam and Eve, James Still combines those stories for Act One of Searching for Eden, and then imagines Adam and Eve in the present day for Act Two to create this completely original and contemporary play about the world's first love story.
While Act One is about childhood, discovery, and new love—Act Two is about middle age, rediscovery and trying to make old love new again. At its heart, Searching for Eden is about the pleasures and terrors of knowing one person—and being known by that person—for a long, long time.
